World Movement for Democracy 2024 - Johannesburgo

Pacto pela Democracia participated in the 12th Global Assembly of the World Movement for Democracy, held in November 2024 in Johannesburg, South Africa. This biennial gathering serves as a unique platform for democracy advocates worldwide to come together, recognize and celebrate democratic resilience, and build stronger unity to confront the current challenges to democracy.

At the 12th Global Assembly, nearly 500 civil society leaders, political actors, and thinkers from nearly 100 countries and territories connected, engaged in peer-learning, and shared their knowledge and experiences. Here, you can check a list of the countries represented at the event.
