    Flávia Pellegrino

    Executive

    Director

    Over the past decade, Flávia has built and coordinated networks within Brazilian civil society focused on defending democracy and human rights. Internationally, she’s been engaged in many initiatives aimed at strengthening transnational cooperation on promoting democracy and countering the current autocratization phenomenon worldwide, such as the Fisher Family Summer Fellows on Democracy and Development Program hosted by Stanford University, the Keseb Democracy Fellowship Program and The Charles F. Kettering Global Fellowship. Flavia holds a degree in journalism (PUC-SP) and a master’s degree in political science (IHEAL - Sorbonne Nouvelle).

    Natália Neris

    Advocacy

    Manager

    PhD in Human Rights from the University of São Paulo, holds a Master’s degree in Law and Development from Fundação Getulio Vargas and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy Management from the University of São Paulo. She has over a decade of experience in public and private sector management and in research on public policy and human rights. Her professional background includes work at the Center for Law and Democracy at CEBRAP, InternetLab – Research in Law and Technology, Twitter Brazil, Insper, and the Federal Government of Brazil, within the National Secretariat for Drug Policy and Asset Management at the Ministry of Justice and Public Security, among other institutions.

    Arthur Mello

    Advocacy

    Coordination

    Currently studying Public Relations (ECA-USP), former student and vice-president of the United World College. Selected by UWC Brazil to attend high school under the International Baccalaureate Diploma at UWC Li Po Chun College in Hong Kong. Participated in the Semester at Sea university program offered by the University of Colorado and was chosen as an "Architect of Hope" in the book by author Ari Satok. Has professional experience in civil society organizations in political mobilization and advocacy.

    André Amaral

    Articulation Coordination

    Internationalist graduated from the University of Brasília, fellow of the International Transparency School on Integrity, and trained in group facilitation and processes by the Germinar Program. With 10 years of professional experience in ensuring and promoting rights in government, international, and third-sector organizations. Among the organizations he has worked for are the United Nations Development Programme, at Centro de Liderança Pública (Center for Public Leadership), and Transparency International - Brazil.

    José Bruno Lima

    Communications Coordinator

    Graduated in Advertising from the Federal University of Ceará and holds a master's degree in Communication from the same university. With over 15 years of experience in communication planning, marketing, and content production, primarily focused on impactful campaigns and projects in political, social, and environmental spheres.

    Helena Salvador

    Campaign Coordination

    Researcher at the Institute of Latin American Integration at the University of São Paulo (PROLAM-USP), journalist with a degree from the Federal University of Paraná, and a Master’s in Political Science from the Complutense University of Madrid and the University of the Republic of Uruguay. Since 2019, has worked in communication, press relations, and social media in the third sector, with experience in organizations such as Politize!, Instituto Update, and the UN Women’s office in Uruguay.

    Thais Scudelletti

    Administrative Coordinator

    A Business Administrator with a degree from Centro Universitário São Camilo and a postgraduate specialization in Financial Management and Controllership from Universidade Anhembi Morumbi. With over 10 years of experience in administrative and financial management, she specializes in controllership, treasury, and budget planning. She has a strong track record in structuring financial departments, implementing policies, processes, and ERP systems, as well as driving cost optimization and providing strategic support to executive leadership.

    Mariana Marques

    Communications Analyst

    A journalist with a degree from the University of São Paulo, Mariana works in communications, content production, and journalism, with a focus on sociopolitical issues. She has experience in researching, writing, and editing articles centered on human rights, society, and democracy. She has worked at Nexo Jornal, contributing to news reports and translations, and at the Vladimir Herzog Institute, supporting initiatives related to human rights education.

    Mariana Marques

    Graphic Designer

    A graduate in Advertising and Graphic Design from PUC-Campinas, Fernanda specializes in branding, communication strategies, and brand development. She has extensive experience working with civil society organizations, providing communication consulting and implementation planning for Geledés – Black Women’s Institute. She has designed layouts and visual projects for reports commissioned by institutions such as Movimento pela Base, Sankofa, and ActionAid, and has created visual identities for specific projects by Geledés and Casa Sueli Carneiro.
