    Flávia Pellegrino

    Executive

    Director

    Over the past decade, Flávia has built and coordinated networks within Brazilian civil society focused on defending democracy and human rights. Internationally, she’s been engaged in many initiatives aimed at strengthening transnational cooperation on promoting democracy and countering the current autocratization phenomenon worldwide, such as the Fisher Family Summer Fellows on Democracy and Development Program hosted by Stanford University, the Keseb Democracy Fellowship Program and The Charles F. Kettering Global Fellowship. Flavia holds a degree in journalism (PUC-SP) and a master’s degree in political science (IHEAL - Sorbonne Nouvelle).

    Ivan Santos (Dú Pente)

    Manager

    Ivan Santos, known as Dú Pente, is an experienced executive leader and manager, as well as a global citizen committed to democracy. His solid track record includes directing and managing institutional projects, programs, and organizations. With involvement in international initiatives such as DemoReset Colombia and Mexico, Ivan is also part of networks dedicated to strengthening democracy in Latin America and the Global South. His work has been recognized by the United States government, which invited him to participate in the 2024 International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), a global leadership initiative. Ivan holds an MBA in Project Management (USP), a specialization in Political Science (UFMG), and a Bachelor's degree in Advertising and Public Relations (PUC-MG).

    Arthur Mello

    Advocacy

    Coordination

    Currently studying Public Relations (ECA-USP), former student and vice-president of the United World College. Selected by UWC Brazil to attend high school under the International Baccalaureate Diploma at UWC Li Po Chun College in Hong Kong. Participated in the Semester at Sea university program offered by the University of Colorado and was chosen as an "Architect of Hope" in the book by author Ari Satok. Has professional experience in civil society organizations in political mobilization and advocacy.

    André Amaral

    Articulation Coordination

    Internationalist graduated from the University of Brasília, fellow of the International Transparency School on Integrity, and trained in group facilitation and processes by the Germinar Program. With 10 years of professional experience in ensuring and promoting rights in government, international, and third-sector organizations. Among the organizations he has worked for are the United Nations Development Programme, at Centro de Liderança Pública (Center for Public Leadership), and Transparency International - Brazil.

    José Bruno Lima

    Communications Coordinator

    Graduated in Advertising from the Federal University of Ceará and holds a master's degree in Communication from the same university. With over 15 years of experience in communication planning, marketing, and content production, primarily focused on impactful campaigns and projects in political, social, and environmental spheres.

    Helena Salvador

    Campaign Coordination

    Researcher at the Institute of Latin American Integration at the University of São Paulo (PROLAM-USP), journalist with a degree from the Federal University of Paraná, and a Master’s in Political Science from the Complutense University of Madrid and the University of the Republic of Uruguay. Since 2019, has worked in communication, press relations, and social media in the third sector, with experience in organizations such as Politize!, Instituto Update, and the UN Women’s office in Uruguay.
