Pacto pela Demoracia participates in international forums for the articulation in defense of democracy in Brazil and worldwide

Based on the recognition that threats to democracy are a global phenomenon and the importance of these international articulations for the local defense of democracy, PactO PELA democracia is being recognized as a fundamental interlocutor from the Brazilian experience, especially from the 2022 elections, to bring expertise in defending democracy.

In October 2023, Flávia Pellegrino, the Executive Coordinator of Pacto pela Democracia participated in the event "Brazil in Transition" organized by the Washington Brazil Office (WBO) at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. She addressed the complexities involved in defending democracy by civil society, especially during the electoral period, and emphasized that these obstacles remain active, requiring solid articulation of organizations and strengthening the Pact's work.
