Organizations gather to coordinate actions for the 2024 Elections

On Tuesday (27), over 50 organizations from Pacto's network gathered in São Paulo (SP) for an event dedicated to discussing the current situation, challenges, and opportunities for civil society engagement during the 2024 municipal elections.

With the central aim of debating network strategies to restore Brazilian society's confidence in the electoral system and electronic voting machines, the executive secretariat facilitated a dialogue space where organizations were encouraged to participate in three distinct stages: initially, a joint analysis of the electoral political context of the year; then, the sharing of planned actions by the organizations for this period; finally, collaboration in the formulation of joint strategies, focusing on rebuilding trust in the elections, as a proposed unified action for the Pacto pela Democracia network.

The event stood out for the diversity of actions among the organizations and the valuable reflections shared by each representative present, as highlighted by Pacto's Articulation Coordinator, André Amaral.
