Copenhagen Democracy Summit 2024

In May 2024, the Copenhagen Democracy Summit brought together representatives from over 90 countries in Denmark’s capital to discuss key issues in the promotion and defense of democracy worldwide. Pacto pela Democracia was proud to be the only Brazilian organization represented at the event.

Attending the summit was an eye-opening experience, providing valuable insights into democratic innovations worldwide, explains Flávia Pellegrino, Executive Director of Pacto pela Democracia.

"Pacto was invited to the conference in recognition of our efforts to expand and strengthen the global pro-democracy movement. This was a unique opportunity to build connections, share insights, and draw inspiration from the experiences of other countries," she adds.
